Overview
Automation is supplied with boiler plants, heating substations and pumping stations, or as a separate upgrade loop on an existing site. Dispatching makes operating parameters visible remotely, delivers alerts on abnormal conditions, stores an archive and reduces the need for permanent on-site staff. Percentage claims of energy savings or cost reduction are not published without separate substantiation.
Automation and dispatching systems provide automatic control, protection against abnormal operating conditions, industrial communications and SCADA integration. Typical industrial interfaces are used for data exchange, including Modbus, Ethernet and GSM — depending on the controller and the brief. Monitored parameters follow the equipment and the project. Cabinets and dispatching modules are manufactured by the DAN plant.
