Plasma cutting of sheet on a 6000 × 2000 mm bed. The plant brief states a maximum thickness of up to 100 mm.
When plasma is the right cut
Plasma covers thick sheet and blanks that do not fit the 3000 × 1500 mm laser bed. Material and edge quality are confirmed from the drawing. A separate public grade list for plasma has not been approved.
Next operations
After cutting, the part can be bent within the 160 t press, welded or coated. It is the same drawing-to-part route with a different cutting method.

How do we send a drawing?

How does plasma differ from the laser here?
The laser bed is 3000 × 1500 mm with ±0.02 mm positioning accuracy. Plasma is a 6000 × 2000 mm bed and up to 100 mm. The method follows the drawing.
